Tomatoes for the treatment of diabetes mellitus

Tomato (Solanum Lycopersicum) easily found in your everyday life. Usually consumed while still fresh without cooking first. Although a bit sour but tastes good and fresh. This plant can be found in loose soil and rich of nutrients to growth optimally.

This plant has a pinnate leaf shape. And star-shaped flowers are yellow, while the fruit is round or slightly flattened depending on the species. In general, tomatoes can be harvested when the plants aged 2-3 months. Tomatoes contain protein, calcium, phosphorus, iron, sulfur, and vitamins (A1, B1, and C). The content is efficacious for the treatment of some disease, such as :

Diabetes
Tomatoes and watermelon to taste, chopped, then juiced. The juice is drunk several times a day.


Bleeding gums (gingivitis)
Tomato fruit is washed, and eaten fresh. For the treatment of bleeding gums is at least as much as the number one fruit consumed per day for a month.
Ulcers in the mouth
Tomatoes taste cooked with fresh fish, then eaten as a side dish. This treatment is done every day for 1-2 weeks until there is change.
Ulcers in the stomach
As many as one tomato cut into small pieces. Into the tomato pieces are added the juice of a sour citrus fruit and honey to taste, and stir evenly. After that herbs can be given to patients several times a day in small amounts. Do it for 3 weeks.
Skin swelling caused by poisoning
Trunk and tomatoes simmered in water until boiling, then cooled. The water is massaged into the affected part. For patients with heat in the stomach and intestines should only eat tomatoes in very small quantities.
